detect foreign matter, using x-ray equipment: Activates
equipment and conveyor. Observes sahdows cast on fluorescent
screen by package or jar passing in front of x ray which
indicates presence of foreign matter, such as sticks, stems,
metal, or dirt. Removes defective packages or jars.
